Mizuno’s new JPX923 irons are engineered for total performance and feature five unique models created from three specific metals, based on Swing DNA data from over 350,000 golfers. This creates options for elite tour players, slow swinging amateurs and every player in between.

The JPX923 Tour, Forged, Hot Metal, Hot Metal Pro and Hot Metal HL all come with a white-satin brush chrome-plated finish which is non-reflective.

JPX923 Tour
Consistently Mizuno’s most-played iron model in professional golf and still one-piece Grain Flow Forged in Hiroshima, the JPX923 Tour adds a copper underlay for an even smoother sensation at impact comapred to the JPX921.

The JPX923 Tour also presents a narrower top line and sole in tandem with more rounded trailing edge for cleaner turf interaction. Player enhancements made possible through the introduction of Mizuno’s new ‘V-Chassis’.

Features
One-piece Grain Flow Forged HD: Forged from 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel at Mizuno's iconic facility in Hiroshima, Japan, where Mizuno irons have been produced since 1968.
Soft copper underlay: A microlayer of copper between the base Nickel and outer Chrome for legendary feel. Made famous in the iconic TN87.
New V-Chassis, thinner topline: Engineered via Mizuno’s ‘Harmonic Impact Technology’ project to create ‘muscleback’ type vibrations and feel from a cavity design. Prior models required a slightly thicker topline to maintain feel.
Cleaner turf Interaction: A generously rolled trailing edge enables versatility and immaculate turf interaction.
Refined scoring irons: Noticeably shorter blade length and more compact from 6 iron to GW for precision where most needed.

JPX923 Hot Metal

JPX923 Hot Metal / Hotel Metal Pro / Hot Metal HL
Hailed as Mizuno's 'fastest-flying and fastest-stopping irons, the JPX923 Hot Metal uses Nickel Chromoly, a new material with help generate additional ball speed.

At 35% stronger than the original Hot Metal material, 4335 Nickel Chromoly enables a high-energy 8% thinner clubface. Combined with Mizuno’s vibration controlling V-Chassis and deep CG design, the JPX923 Hot Metal irons are as enjoyable and controllable as they are long.

Features
Faster Nickel Chromoly: New 4335 Nickel Chromoly is 35% stronger than the original Chromoly, for an 8% thinner, high ball speed clubface.
New V-Chassis: Delivers a more solid satisfying vibration pattern, even though the clubface is 8% thinner.
Increased Stopping Power: Seamless cup face construction delivers the deep CG needed for a high launch and controllable landing angle.
Consistent ball speeds across the face: The thinnest part of the sole is extended 18% wider, creating a wider high-energy area.

JPX923 Hot Metal Pro

Studying over 175,000 recorded Swing DNA fitting sessions with real golfers each year, Mizuno’s R&D team highlighted the need for three distinct player needs and launch patterns, resulting in three Hot Metal models - the Hot Metal, Hot Metal Pro and Hot Metal HL.

TaylorMade's new Hi-Toe 3 wedges focus on versatility and performance on shots closest to the green, helping golfers unlock creativity and save strokes.

The Hi-Toe 3 is capable of producing the entire catalogue of short game shots, from low-launching, high-spinning checkers to full-on open-faced flops.

Par-saving up and downs can have a more significant impact than birdies, which is why many of the world's best players have the world's best short games. It starts with versatility and imagination, along with the tools and confidence to pull them off.

indeed, the history of Hi-Toe began on tour, as TaylorMade's product and engineering teams worked directly with TaylorMade athletes to develop the original design in 2018. The main request was versatility.

“Our athletes all offered great input individually, but collectively everyone wanted something versatile. They wanted a single wedge that could perform around the greens from deep rough, thick fescue, bunkers with different sands, in wet conditions and from tight lies. That’s a lot to fit into a single design, but with Hi-Toe 3 we’ve done it,” said Bill Price, TaylorMade's Senior Director, Product Creation, Wedges and Putters.

The Hi-Toe 3 design produces a higher centre of gravity that’s engineered for a lower launch and more spin, delivering even better control and spin properties on full swings.

Advanced versatility in the Hi-Toe 3 begins with the four-way cambered sole, which remains a staple of the original design. The unique geometry allows for a wide sole and the forgiveness associated with high bounce while maintaining a low leading edge, making it playable from tight lies and visually appealing to better players.

Trailing edge relief adds to the versatility by allowing golfers to easily open the face to manipulate loft, trajectory, and spin on short shots. The large ZTP Raw Grooves feature radii further engineered for optimal spin in various conditions.

New elements that enhance versatility:
Full Length Scoring Lines: Full length scoring lines on wedges of 54° and higher help generate spin around the green when the face is rotated open on shorter shots. This is the first time TaylorMade has offered full length scoring lines that stretch across the entire length of the face in a 54° wedge.

Raised Micro-Ribs: Milled ribs positioned between the full grooves add texture to the face and are designed for increased spin and performance on partial shots around the green. This technology was first introduced in TaylorMade's Milled Grind 3 wedge and has now been added to the Hi-Toe family.

Aged copper finish: Adds a premium aesthetic and will blend seamlessly with the RAW face as it rusts over time.

The 2023 Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls made their PGA Tour debut last week at the Sanderson Farms Championship, a week earlier than expected.

Titleist’s tour seeding and validation process for the new Pro V1 and Pro V1x had been scheduled to begin this week at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas. In the days leading up to Sanderson Farms, however, Titleist tour reps received multiple requests from Garrick Higgo, M.J. Daffue and Gary Woodland – each of whom had done extensive testing during the prototyping process – asking to put the new balls in play as soon as possible.

The final Pro V1 and Pro V1x prototypes, manufactured at Titleist Ball Plant 3 in New Bedford, Mass., were delivered overnight and arrived last Tuesday morning at The Country Club of Jackson in white box prototype packaging.

In the first round, Higgo (Pro V1), Daffue (Pro V1x) and Woodland (Pro V1x) became the first three players to game the 2023 models in competition. Four holes into his first round, Daffue’s new Pro V1x rolled into the cup at the 182-yard par-3 4th for an ace. Playing his new Pro V1, Higgo led the field in birdies (24), closing in 4-under 68 Sunday to finish one shot out of the playoff.

Gathering feedback from the game’s best players through every stage of the R&D process and then earning their validation under the pressure of competition are critical elements in the development of all high-performance Titleist golf balls and equipment.

Today, Titleist’s flagship models are trusted by more than 72 percent of players across the PGA Tour and major worldwide tours. Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls were also used by the winners of all four men’s major championships in 2022: Scottie Scheffler (Pro V1), Justin Thomas (Pro V1x), Matt Fitzpatrick (Pro V1x) and Cameron Smith (Pro V1x).

Over the next three practice days in Las Vegas, Titleist Golf Ball R&D reps Fordie Pitts and Jeff Beyers will be working with players as they continue to test the new models. The process will continue over the coming weeks and months with professionals and elite amateurs around the world, as well as members of Team Titleist.

“First thing I’ll always do is take them to the short game area. For me, that’s always the most important,” said long-time Pro V1 player and reigning Masters champion Scheffler. “From there I’ll go to the range and just look at numbers, carry, stuff like that. From there, I’ll go out on the course and just start hitting shots. So same thing I do in the short game area, have a few of my ball, have a few of the new ball and just try and hit the same shot and see how the ball reacts, see what it does in the wind and just go from there.

“One shot that I’m always practicing is when I take some off of it. I need to see that it’s still the same (distance) gaps between my full shot and when I’m taking some off of it. When I’m practicing on the driving range, if I have a little mishit or if a shot doesn’t feel right...I usually have a really good feel for how far it actually carried. If my stock wedge is 140 and I’m trying to hit at 135, and maybe I catch a little bit off and I’m like, ‘man that really feels like 132,’ if it goes that distance, that’s really important to me. And that gives me a lot of faith in what that golf ball’s going to do.”

Custom-engineered for lady golfers, TaylorMade's new and improved Kalea Premier set delivers a lightweight design to produce more speed, higher trajectories and greater distance with enahanced forgiveness.

“Kalea Premier is a combination of proven TaylorMade technologies, which are tuned specifically to give women in these segments the best performance, and the most visually stunning designs on the market.

"Our research has shown that women will no longer accept a half-hearted approach to product design in any industry. We've been continuously mindful of this and have created a design language that utilizes a combination of rich colors and refined textures with premium materials to create a sophisticated and elegant product line for women," said Tomo Bystedt, Taylormade's Senior Director, Carbonwoods & Metalwoods.

The all-new line-up of Titleist TSR metalwoods which are designed to improve upon the four F’s: Flight, Feel, Form and Forgiveness, is made up of three distinct models packed with technology and advanced refinements that can benefit every player.

“The new TSR fairway metals exemplify the newest advancements in metalwood technology and offer options for all golfers looking to gain an advantage off the tee and off the deck,” said Stephanie Luttrell, Director, Metalwood Development, Titleist.

“Combined with its tour-inspired shaping and powerful sound and feel, the optimized performance of TSR fairways sets a new standard for the Titleist Speed Project.”

Technology Overview
One of the key new features of the new fairway metalwoods is the Open Hosel Construction. Removing the excess weight found high and towards the heel of the clubhead made it possible to reposition weight, shifting the CG lower and closer to the center of the face for provides more forgiveness and a higher launch.

Dramatic shifts in CG are constant throughout all three fairway offerings. The CG location is engineered for the specific needs of each fairway model, but all result in extremely high levels of forgiveness, high launch, and speed.

Another commonality between the fairway woods is the player-tuned performance. Implementing key feedback from tour professionals and examining every details to produce a metal wood that instils confidence in every player.
